BR WD Austerity 2-10-0 Locos

    I have added a collection of ex WD Austerity 2-10-0 locos mainly preserved locos except this one

    90756 & 90### unknown location

    Can anyone confirm which loco this is on the Longmoor Military Railway please

    Also included are photos of (90775) 601 Sturdee In 1989 it was repainted, this time into Longmoor Military Railway ROD red and blue livery as WD 601 Sturdee (next in WD sequence) MHR

    The second photo shows the number on the tender buffer beam ending in 00

    Picture 13 doesn't look like any place on the MHR.

    More like the GCR, I'd have thought

    Picture 13's Loughborough Central, circa 2002.
    Picture 18 is Pickering. 16 I'd say more than likely NRM.
    I'd also wager picture 4 is 70s rather than 60s - the presence of Britannia, for one, seems unlikely before that!

    Picture 4 is definately after May 1978 as the Brit is fully painted. Pedantic mode Bridgnorth with no 'e' mind you I am a fine one to speak my spelling is awful!

    The two photos at Longmoor are almost certainly 600 at the last open day, at Longmoor Downs Station.

    Pic 13 is platform 1 at Loughborough G.C.R. I agree that pic 4 is after May 1978 at Bridgnorth.
