It was an eventfull weekeend in more ways than one, traveled up both days clocking up over 500 miles in total for one, first day arrived near brdige 30 and pulled the car of the road to get stuck in the mud, a big thanks to the person who resqued us. Day two in the same spot a little later just down the path a dog jumped penny and tried to rip her head off, fortunetly I was quick enougth to get hold of it but spent best part of five minutes with my hands holding its mouth open a bit to prevent major injury but unable to get it to release her before finaly winning the battle. I ended up with a tetnus jab and two slightly naggerd fingers, while penny got OK from the vet as I managed to prevent anything other then some scratches.

Anyway back to the film footage, this is the first part showing the first crossing of bridge 30 and early day footage from both days.

I bet the owner was like "oh sorry", thats what happened to our dog rose (a wire haired dachshund) another dog off the lead bit her, vet fees cost £70 and when we tried to extract fees from the dog owner she was having none of it. Rose was emotionally scared for ages, not wanting to go on a walk for a few months.

Nice to see the line back in one piece. I wonder where the banner ended up as it was still over the buffers as the train carried on?

Rufused to give me details as I had not been polite to her, as if I was going to say thankyou verry much for letting your little hitler try and rip my dogs head off. I told her to keep the ***** **** on a lead and get it muzzled, I don't usualy sware but having spent five minits fighting it, she was lucky I didn't kick it around the field. Luckly only cost me a inspection fee for penny, no major damage thanks to my quick action and she manged to side step the first attack. I opted to continue the day, snuggled up with her for an hour and made extra fuss of her, she was back to her self in around two hours thankfully insisting which way we should walk as per normal.
