'Otter', a 2' gauge copy of a Bagnall Sipat has been finished for its new owner today. It will be trialed in the next few weeks before delivery.

At present the owner does not want to be identified so please do not ask.

The next new build, a replica of the Southwold 3' gauge locomotive 'Blyth' is underway with its boiler due to be finished in April. Another new build is in advanced state of discussion for a 2022 finish assuming funding is achieved.

If we can be of assistance with a new build for your project, please email david@nbr.org.uk . We can also undertake other machining work as required and new boiler work.

That looks like the narrow gauge line based in the former goods yard at Castleton Moor on the Esk Valley [Middlesbrough - Whitby] line.....

I knew I recognised it! Good spot. I thought the line in the background was narrow gauge as well, but of course it's the Esk Valley line.
