You know, there is such a thing as 'wikipedia'. Google is also your friend.

...as well as the courtesy of Ps and Qs.

Wikipedia has them down, as well as other foreign preserved S160s. If you want a secondary source check on the owning/home railways' websites they'll normally give you more info.

Yep, scroll down to preservation, then look at the 'location' column.
Then check the yellow pages :)

Specsavers for you my lad ;)

Section 5 Preservation lists 8 off, in various states of repair. Column 5, look out for the Union Flag

Too true - that's where I found you the answer to your 9F flangless driver query earlier ;)

    Finally, a voice of reason!

I'd be intruiged as to know where on wiki, especially as the source you cited was not a wikipedia page...
And did i start a needless thread in which to post my query?

'Google is your friend' ring any bells Alex? I agree wholeheartedly with the comments regarding YRM's various demanding postings, but in the 9F case you could have answered your own query by following your own advice, no?

And indeed it was my first port of call. I see flangeless drivers are an issue, but wasn't able to find why, so i asked on an active thread where the topic had turned to 9fs. An understandable action, your honour, no?

Now in agreement with Sidmouth's sentiment, I think its about time we stopped feeding this poster

I don't think that he asked an unreasonable question and it got me looking for info that I might have not seen had the suggestion not been 'planted' by the OP. He did say please this time, and at the end of the day, it is a discussion forum.

Can't the moderators restrict his postings so that anything that he submits has to be approved first? Might cut the c*ap out.

Weird - keeps working for me. Just click on his name, and then his posts, which is all the link does. Basically of 25 posts, nearly 100% are new topics with no follow up posts.
