    Good as the se pictures maybe, I believe taht they are in the wrong place, they should be filled in the Photography section, along with all the other picture galleries

    I would say the pictures of 34051 are taken at York, especially the first one. The picture of 34052 I think is actually 34057, 34052 was a rebuilt loco.

    Unfortunately your link to 34052 LORD DOWDING gives 34057 Biggin Hill Bournemouth.
    I went with my stepfather when he named the first two B of B class locomotives in September 1947.

    34052 was the last of its class to run on 9 July 1967, marking the end of steam on Southern Region, replaced by diesels the following day.

    I have both the crests, but the LH nameplate that I loaned to RAF Bentley Priory (Dad’s Fighter Command HQ) in 1990 went missing:
