The second shot of 35007, under the signal gantry; is that at the west end of Southampton Central?

The shot of 35018; is that approaching Eastleigh in the up, with the line to the shed veering off to the left?

The final shot of 35029 looks like the up centre road at Exeter Central.

    35002 (page 2) - at Waterloo?
35003 (page 5) - totem shows Woking and the train is, I believe, on an Up journey.
35006 (page 9) - possibly leaving Waterloo for servicing/turning at Nine Elms?
35007 (page 11) - I tend to agree with Rumpole and it is possibly taking water at Southampton Central on a Down service?
35008 (page 13) - on the buffers at Waterloo?
35010 (page 15) - on a Down service at Basingstoke?
35013 (page 21) - is the Bournemouth Belle arriving at Bournemouth West?
    35017 (page 26) - at Salisbury?
35018 (page 27) - an Up Bournemouth service approaching Campbell Lane bridge at Eastleigh. Lines on extreme left serve the sidings between Eastleigh works/shed and Southampton Airport boundary fence. Those lines also form part of the loop line used for turning steam locos as necessary.

The photo previou to 35008 on the stops at Waterloo look to me like Wareham.

Would love to have looked at that collection Neil. But I gave up after the first three linked to because of the copyright stuff right across the loco. Totally spoils it for me.

A very low res copy for a web site will view OK but be just about useless for anyone to download and abuse the copyright from.

Sorry about the copyright but it is a condition of use with the www.throughtheireyes2.co.uk photos

There are other photos in the collection not copyrighted across the loco

Have you uploaded some of these on other websites a few years ago? I can swear I've seen that picture of an unrebuilt 35021 before

Interesting picture, a blue & grey Mk 2 coach, must be pretty rare to see a Mk2 hauled by steam traction in the steam era prior to preservation days. Especially on the Southern with the imminent electrification. Also who is that hanging out of the cab doorway on 35013? Doesn't look like a crew member.

The gent is almost certainly not part of the rostered crew. He's wearing a white/light shirt, and possibly a tie, with what looks like a camera case near his waist!
Courtesy of Six Bells Junction website this train was the Worcester Railway Society's railtour (starting from Birmingham New Street using Midland stock) "Farewell to Steam on the LSWR" on 11th June 1967. It had visited the Swanage branch already with 34004 and 80146 t&t. The section from Weymouth departed around 1645 with 35013 coming off at Dorchester South explaining why 35030 had its headcode discs already. 35030 continued alone through Poole, Eastleigh, Romsey and Salisbury. 34023 hauled the train on the Salisbury to Willesden Junction leg.
