Network Rail has offered a £5,000 reward after copper signal cables were stolen in Leeds, causing delays for thousands of commuters.

Five hundred metres of cable was stolen from the railway at Mickelfield in the early hours of Monday. Part of Leeds City station was closed while engineers worked into the afternoon to repair the damage.
