Caledonian Sleeper's at Edinburgh Waverley 16/17th May 2010

    Here are some photos from the period between 23:00 and 01:00 at Edinburgh Waverley on 16/17th May 2010. These photos provide an overview of different Sleeper loco's and sets in the station. It really is a look at a different railway to that of anywhere else with shunting movements,light engine moves and loco hauled trains constantly in the station for most of the night. The northbound and southbound Sleeper's to/from Inverness,Aberdeen and Fort William all run via Edinburgh with various shunt moves required to send the correct portions to their destination.
