    Out to video this one this morning, 6233 drifted quietly past Beeston Castle on time and although moving fairly briskly made no more noise than the preceding Voyager. :(. Mist and murk meant that for most of the planned long pan she was out of sight, so not bothering posting.

    The only time I have been to Holyhead without there needing to be a diesel attached for the shunt move was when DBS took Tornado there and a local diesel was used to assist. So yesterday's SD trip was not unusual in that respect. But you are right. The whole day did have a diesel attached for one reason or another.
