Britannia plus a class 67 diesel have now been turned at Westbury possibly for a move to Southall this evening.
The loco is in steam. It is due to depart Southall on Sunday as 08:20 5Z41 Southall to Kings Cross. <BJ>

Passed Hornsey about 1 minute down, seemingly on the down fast. Not easy to tell from the depot car park. Sounded good though. Usual "green" set with a few maroon vehicles mixed in, as well as the blood and custard support coach.

Saw it at Foxton, and when the safety valves lifted, I had a horrible feeling of deja vu having seen the video of it climbing Scudamore Bank on the Bath Spa Express, but all was well and it left the water stop at Cambridge and passed Milton on time.

Lovely run from 70000 yesterday - wonderful rhythmic beat of a two cylinder pacific as we departed Potters Bar for the final dash to Kings Cross.

    Regards,

    Dan
