Cathedrals Express to York Friday, 30th Sept. with 60007/4492

    The latest news on the members area of the SNGLPT website advises that 60007 has been withdrawn from it's September commitments due to ongoing firebox repairs.

    This must leave this tour somewhat vulnerable to cancellation as NR say there are currently no weekday paths out of the 'cross and they have now lost half of the motive power.

    As the SNGLPT cannot give a date for completion of the repairs the proposed visit to the Mid-Hants during October must also now be in doubt!

    No I do not currently volunteer
    Well the MHR are still promoting the footplate experience courses with 60007 on their website so they must be hopeful of SNG's attendance. Fingers crossed she is ready in time. Or they haven't had the news from the owning group yet. Perhaps the MHR should start looking for a replacement just in case though.
