Went yesterday to the chasewater railways industrial gala
my first visit to this railway and i got to say what a great day out
only a small railway compared to the big lines but very friendly staff
five industrial engines in steam plus an 08 shunter on passenger trains , guards van rides and freight trains all for a day rover ticket of £4.45 . the best value for money gala i have ever been to
it will certainly be going on my calender for next year

Such a shame it clashed with Tanfield's industrial themed gala AGAIN or I would've gone...

Yes I am an active volunteer
I went on the Saturday and it was very quiet which was a shame but I've seen so little advertising of it in comparison to other gala's . Look at the efforts put in by Middleton and Tanfield to promote their events on here . I'll be at Middleton this week .

Chasewater phots were very poor , but there is a blog post coming so I'll put some on there
