Yes I am an active volunteer
I see this one is now not steam hauled in both directions as originally advertised, according to UK Steam. Last year it eventually only ran from Downham Market instead of King's Lynn, due to Units being parked in the one platform that 60007 could have used at King's Lynn. I'm expecting further changes...... My Missus and me enjoyed the trip last year, but we are away for it this time.

From Matthew Brown on SE-Gen. Looks like same arrangements as last year, so No. 7 will do the ECS into the Cross in the evening.

We left Kings Lynn around 15 mins late as the stock arrived at our booked departure time. This time was easily made up by Kings Cross where we arrived bang on time. The stock had been shunted around during the evening after yesterday’s trip to York, which I gather is due to the platform length at Kings Lynn. I am unsure on what caused the delay of the ECS. In the end a decent journey home after a good few days behind SNG. Thanks to all involved etc.

Shame about the sun (or lack thereof), but it was worth seeing (and hearing) SNG this lunchtime. Decided that the field south of Hitchin (Wymondley) would be best for any action.

No surprise it arrived early in KX, given the pedestrian schedule it had! Almost two hours to do Royston to KX? Ah well.....

    Regards,
    Tim

Was booked in Plat 4 but went into 3, best laid plans and all that! Very long weekend for the A4 team especially given use of 60007 for the shunt!
