    The diesel team at CVR is small, but always in need of extra hands, Sat 9th Jan sees the start of the cab work on 33021 any volunteers welcome, always a job to be done by anyone willing.

    NSRC membership covers all insurances etc. with the added benefits that go with the membership


    Loco fleet:-

    Class 04 - D2334 - Out of service awaiting gearbox - on display in front of shed
    Class 25 - D2672 - Awaiting overhaul after class 47 in queue
    Class 33 - 33021 - (D6539) - Available - Being stood down Jan - March for cab repairs
    Class 33 - 33102 - (D6513) - Available
    Class 47 - 47524 - (D1107) - Major restoration in progress

    Industrial -

    Brightside - YEC - 0-4-0 - Nearing end of overhaul
    Roger H Bennett - YEC - 0-6-0 - Available

    Another day planned on 33021 Sat 16th all assistance welcome, cab strip out ready for weld repairs...
