    The CVR will be running 2 return trips from Froghall – Cauldon Lowe on Wednesday the 28[SUP]th[/SUP] of December and Thursday the 29[SUP]th[/SUP] December. Train times are as follows;

    Depart Froghall 10:30 and 13:20
    Arrive at Froghall 12:55 and 15:45

    The round trip is 27 miles and offers a train ride in beautiful Staffordshire Moorlands scenery. The Cauldon Lowe line offers the opportunity to hear the locomotives working hard with gradients ranging from 1 in 40 – 1 in 61 for 7 miles.

    The locomotive in use subject to availability will be Black 5 No. 44767 George Stephenson running top and tail with class 33 No. 33021. Large Prairie No. 5199 will be stand-by locomotive for both days.
