Am thinking of paying a visit to the CVR on Wednesday this week. Does anyone know which steam and diesel loco's are likely to be in use?
    Thanks in advance!

This the 10th? I'll be the fireman onboard 5199 that day so come and say hi if you're around :)

Thanks for the replies chaps. Just got back from a rather wet and windy week's camping in the Peak District. Made it down to Cheddleton last Wednesday for a day with 5199. I take it that was you with the chalk, scribing on 5199's smokebox door Lil Bear? A nice tribute, 43 years on from the end of steam on BR.

Certainly was. Shame the rain kept washing it away, hence I was rewriting it every trip.
