Cincinnati streetcar design unveiled

    CGI renderings showing the final design of Cincinnati’s new light rail vehicles have been revealed.

    Production of the new CAF trams, which will each be able to carry 154 passengers, will begin next month.

    Construction began on the 3.9-mile light rail system in February 2012. Around $148 million of funding has already been committed to the first phase of the project.

    The first new tram will arrive in the city in March 2015.
