    I think it's the north end of Leamington as it comes off the Kenilworth branch; Banbury is more curved if memory serves correct.

    Spot on .....I thought the same...I was born in Leamington Spa and spent a lot of time spotting there....I think it was when they were lifting the track to Rugby.....

    Definitely Banbury South. The ground signal to the right were replaced by a new lower quadrant signal plus shunts three years ago for HST diversions during the first reading blockade.
    Leamington Spa SB, with mechanical signalling was closed in 1985 or 1986, long before class 57's were even a dream. (Or should that be nightmare with their reliability problems?)
    From memory, Leamington Spa was the prototype solid state interlocking. Now replaced by a couple circuit boards in West Midland Control Centre.
