    Hi All

    I have added a new collection of Fowler 7F 0-8-0 locomotives,

    There is also a new photo of Claughton 4-6-0 5964 Patriot.
    I have looked at a number of photos of this loco, (look at that nameplate), but i have not seen one with the tanks on top of the tender, can anyone inform me what they were for please?

    The tanks were for oil. This one of the oil fired locos after WW1
