    Hi All

Coast to Coast tour July 2nd. Railway Touring Company/uksteam still showing this as 6100, any odds on it running or will it be 6201 Princess Elizabeth again (deja vu 2 years ago)

This tour now not shown on the 6201 website. With 70000 on the trip to Carlisle the week before I would think that would be favourite now.

I'm booked on this, so it would be great if it's the Brit.

I understood that 70000 and 6201 are the Crewe pool locos this year so any WCRC tour in the area is very likely to be either of those.

6100 has now been shaded out on UK Steam latest update (today), so looks very unlikely to be hauling this.

What is the latest on 70000? I'm booked on the CME on the 25th which was either 6110 or 70000... Wouldn't be too disapponted though if 46115 backed onto the train then instead!

If it's not 70000 then I'd put money on 6201...

Don't forget 6201 is rostered for the 3rd July Shakespeare and will be there for the previous weekend open day . I'm not sure it will be practical to get 6201 back from the end of the tour , turned and serviced ready for the following day

Will that be her first departure from Liverpool since 1968?

And I would guess that the diesel will stay on the back, as with the likely load of more than 9 she would have trouble getting out of Lime Street without help.

I'm trying to get myself as a train steward on this & the CME the week before. But haven't had any feedback from RTC yet!
