As posted elsewhere i still am a bit disappointed the bus service couldn't be put on for this weekend but is instead running during events like the model railway exhibition. I would have thought the 150 weekend with visiting locomotives would be the bigger draw and be the prime event to run such a service. I did email the railway and was told the bus service hasn't proved as popular as it could have been, i did email back saying it was early days and perhaps not many people know about it plus mentioned alternative ideas but got no response, however i was told the bus service definitely wouldn't be put on for this weekend. As a result it looks unlikely i will be able to go which is a shame.

There also isn't much info about the event on the website, infact what you have posted is far more informative as i had no idea the Peckett would be running aswell.

As was explained we have run buses on 2 previous events - but with only ONE passenger on on day and about 8 on the other we cannot justify the running costs - bus hire is not cheap. Confirmation of a visiting loco was not received until late Tuesday. The service had been pulled for the model railway exhibition, but this is now being run by someone else.
