Colne Valley Railway Diesel Gala 28/03/10

    Afternoon all,

    The Colne Valley Railway is holding its annual diesel gala on the 28th March 2010. This year's event will be bigger than those of the last couple of years, with almost every operational diesel in action. All of the following is of course subject to availability, but the planned lineup is as follows:

    Operational:
    Class 31 No. 31255 on Mk1s
    Class 141 No. 141108
    Class 121 No. W55033
    Class 03 No. D2184, Top & Tail freight (or maybe just the brakevans) with D2041, rides available in
    brake vans
    Class 03 No. D2041 (this will be the first time in a good few years that D2041 has been in service)
    Industrials: Lake & Elliott 'Henry' and Planet 'Pluto' will be pottering around the station area.

    The two recent arrivals, ex CFD class 20s Nos. 20035 and 20063 are currently in the siding alongside the running line so should be able to be photographed from the trains. Other locos on static display will be
    Class 47 No. 47771, Class 08s Nos. 08411 & 08670 and Industrial AB349/41.

    If anyone's planning on coming, I shall be driving D2041 so come and say hello!
