Colour of Timken axle box covers on LMS pacifics

    Does anyone have data on the colour that the Timken axle box covers were painted on the ex-LMS Corontation class, specifically William Stanier FRS when it was last shopped in 1962 in BR Maroon? There seems to be two contenders, 'distant' yellow and straw yellow which are highlighted as different shades. You could say that the colour only lasted a week but the idea is to show the loco in ex-works condition.
