Crewe Heritage Centre Railway Gala Weekend May 16th/17th

    With the generous support of Direct Rail Services, the Heritage Centre is hosting a railway gala weekend with upto 4 DRS locomotives on site as well as the Centre's Class 03, 47, 87 and APT. In addition there is also present the three LMS locomotives "Princess Elizabeth, Duchess of Sutherland and Royal Scot" plus several locos undergoing work at the adjacent LNWR Heritage workshop. There will also be model railways layouts on display plus the Centre's three signal boxes (North Junction, Crewe Station A and Exeter West) will all be open to visitors plus displays of buses, cars, motorbikes etc. The opening times are 10am to 4.30pm with last admissions at 3.30pm. This is the ideal opportunity to see some of the changes taking place at the Heritage Centre under the new management team.
