    I still remember a photo in one of JIC Boyd's books showing a train beginning to cross Britannia Bridge with the heading 'Portmadoc will not see this again'.

    Having just seen the video on the Barrie Hughes website of Palmerston running an historic stock special to PC I have to say that I found it quite moving.

    What an amazing achievement by all those concerned!
