    Wonderful surviving section of the once extensive 3 foot system that ran all over this region, the other survivor being the Durango Silverton section.

    Yes I am an active volunteer
    Did the C&T back in early 1999 when much of it was covered by snow. We were riding the snow plough train - wedge plough rather then the rotary - when just above Los Pinos we hit a big drift and the pilot loco was bounced clear off the track.
