I was reading on the Railway Touring Company website to see which engine was on the CCE in a couple of week, but it has disappeared from the website, any ideas why?

    Thanks in Advance

Through Cark in fine form with a toot from the hooter which made a 4 year old girls evening.

One thing I am noticing round here is that watching steam through is getting ever more popular , must have been 10+ at the station and probably at least 5 at the next bridge down the line which is visible from the station.

LMS 5XP Class 4-6-0 No. 45690 'Leander' doing the business through the Lune Gorge heading 'The Cumbrian Coast Express' towards Tebay and the north.
The weather although dull was dry, the downpour experienced by the lads further north could be seen from here and they were welcomed to it!!

The change in the weather was very welcomed as LMS 5XP Class 4-6-0 No. 45690 'Leander' works away from Foxfield with the return leg of 'The Cumbrian Coast Express

Many thanks. Yes, that's right, near Wraysholme Tower. I went to Cark & Cartmel first but was put off by the big cloud that refused to budge. I only just made it here in time.

Love the Lune Gorge shot, you'd never know the motorway existed.
