Custom design revealed for Montpellier tram line

    The future design of Montpellier’s Line 5 trams has been unveiled.

    A concept devised by the Yellow Window Design agency and artist Miss Tic has been chosen for the 18 new trams set to begin passenger service on the city’s new light rail line by the end of 2017.

    Montpellier currently has four tram lines in operation, each of which have their own distinctive exterior and interior vehicle designs.

    Line 5 will cover 15.7 kilometres and add 26 new stations to the existing network.
