D6700 to GCR on loan

    5 year agreement between the NRM and the Heavy Tractor Group for D6700/37350 to be maintained in operational condition. Good news! Hopefully something similar will follow with D9002 and D200.

    I can already picture D6700 with the replica brake tender in front of it and a nice long rake of wagons behind it. That would be a sight to see!

    As D9002 is suffering from a coolant filled engine, due to the intransigence of the NRM, regarding a H&S issue, don't hold your breath.
    The group who did look after her, have re joined the DPS, and are doing a sterling job getting 9015 ready for service.
