We have once again organised a cruise on a Mersey Ferry to raise funds for our re-launched Full Steam Ahead Campaign ahead of our renewed Heritage Lottery Fund bid. The cruise will take place on:

    Saturday 5 May 2012

This year, the cruise will have a new itinerary by sailing down the Garston Channel before entering Stalbridge Dock at Garston. This, we believe, will be the first time that a Mersey Ferry has taken passengers into Garston Dock and is a rare opportunity not to be missed.

DAPS expresses its grateful thanks to Peel Ports Mersey, Associated British Ports, the Liverpool Pilots Association and Mersey Ferries without whom this cruise would not have been possible.

Departure times for the 4 hour cruise will be:

    Seacombe Landing Stage 10:00

    Pier Head, Liverpool 10:10

    Woodside Landing Stage 10:25

Tickets are £25.00 per person (all classes)

    Tickets can be purchased:

    · via a credit card from the Mersey Ferries ticket office on 0151 330 1444, quoting ‘Daniel Adamson Cruise’ or

    · in person by visiting one of the three Mersey Ferry ticket offices

Details of the cruise will also be placed on the Society’s website at The Daniel Adamson Preservation Society - Britain's Last Surviving Steam Tug Tender. shortly.

We expect demand to be very high due to the rarity of the route so book early!

    Dan
