    Afternoon All,

The latest additions to my Fotopic site are a further batch of pictures from Denmark in 1970.

Here's the link for anyone interested to see them :

As usual, they are in the 'Stop Press!' collection for new pictures. In due course I shall move them on and they will then join the others in the Danish Railways collection which is here :

Hope that they are of interest.

Best wishes to all for 2010 with, hopefully, plenty of steam!

    Ron,
The loco on the left is possibly 2-4-0T SVJ No.1, and the one on the right is possibly 0-4-0ST DSK no.1. As for the location, my googling has suggested nothing other than they are with the Danish Railway Club.

Lars Dolleris, steam loco driver on Denmark's SFvJ, has very kindly identified the 'unknown' locos and one of the locations. I have been unsuccessful in uploading a picture that he attached to his email (so will send it direct to Ron) but here are the identifications:

http://ronfisher.fotopic.net/p62705044.html is "Østre Gasværk no. 3" in Maribo
    Stored at Museumsbanen Maribo-Bandholm http://www.museumsbanen.dk/ and http://www.museumsbanen.dk/materiel/og3.htm
Delivered from Hanomag in 1906, no. 4726.
    1906-1964 "Valby Gasværk no. 2"
    1964-1970 "Østre Gasværk no. 3"
    1970-

The flag on the chimney on DSB's locos was introduced in 1867 at District 2 (Jylland and Fyn) and 1888 at District 1 (Sjælland)
"Østre Gasværk no. 3" was an industrial loco at Østre Gasværk (gasworks) and had no chimney flag.
Most private railways had their own chimney flags. (eg. white-red-white-blue-white-green-white)

http://ronfisher.fotopic.net/p62705047.html is "Østre Gasværk no. 1" and "Skive-Vestsalling Jernbane no. 1"
"Østre Gasværk no. 1" is stored by Nordsjællands Veterantog http://www.veterantoget.dk/ and http://www.veterantoget.dk/materiel/damp/og_1.html
