Nice photos there. What's going on with the signal box at Dawlish I see from your photos it's been covered in plastic sheeting?

    Thanks

Cheers, yeah its to protect it I believe, been like it a couple of years. Got a blasting from plenty of spray tonight. Not at its roughest but on Tuesday night waves were breaking around 100m out at full tide so you can get an impression of what effect it had on the wall!!

Dawlish Box is actually listed but is in a parlous state. I don't know if NR have any plans for it, other than to let it deteriorate to the point of no return. Is it salvageable, to be turned into something St. Albans South -esque? Lovely location!

Yeah,I do believe there were plans around 5 years ago to make it into an Art Gallery, sadly it looks like nothing came of them.
