Had a work trip to Hatfield yesterday working very near to some of the surviving buildings which once belonged to De Havilland. For example this one built in 1934 (which is now a police station) which was once the admin building

I believe the flight test hanger has also survived and is now a sports centre and the site only closed in 1993
The main factory and runways have all gone and other buildings built there.

Anybody any interesting memories/photos of visiting or working there ?

Wouldn’t mind £1 for every time I’ve passed that building. Went to a couple of their open days many years back.
