Just to bring the previous thread around the Diesel event of the 7th September up to date, this Saturday will see D9521 and D9555 working together along with a DMU. First train for the 14's is off Norchard at 1100hrs for Lydney Junction. The DMU starts at 1030 with a departure for Parkend.

Timetable is available here......http://www.deanforestrailway.co.uk/section.php?xSec=36 (click on the event). As ever, normal caveats apply, all subject to availability etc.

    Thanks!

    Nick

Is the plan to double head both locomotives all day? Hope D9555 makes it this time!

Yes I think that's the plan. (Mainly to ensure it can get home if anything bursts I suppose! ). We are booked off Norchard 1100hrs, down to LJ and then back up to Parkend. Let's hope it runs OK as I haven't seen it work for ages and never with 21 in tandem.
