    Next collection going back to William Dean are the 'Dean Goods' 0-6-0 class of locos



    including this one of 2534 Dean Goods with large snow plough fitted Swindon

    must b the original Swindon Museum judging by the windows

    In the second photo, I wonder is that Lode Star behind 2516? Stored awaiting restoration perhaps. Shame 3101 didn't survive too

    shorten the tanks back to the rear of the smokebox and introduce a slant to the front third of them and the loco wouldn't have looked half as ugly.....great picture
