5x Deltics is quite an achievement.
I wonder what chance of them all being at the south end of bolton street on trains by the gantry... Would make quite a foto from jubilee way ?, anyone doing a fotoshoot for this ?

Roster is online; matching colours for double headers, and D335 on the ramsbottom service.

Looks like they couldn't decide which one to use for the Beerex ... so they used them all!

Im very sorry i didnt get the second double header because my camera died on me and didnt stay around for the 5 deltic hauled run because it was too dark to me to film and my camera died.

I was fortunate to attend on the Saturday during superb weather. This was a fantastic event and every credit to everyone involved at the ELR. 5 working Deltics on one day - what a spectacle!!

I like the 9016 TARDIS at 3 mins! Not so sure about the all or nothing driving style though, making the wheelslip detector work overtime!

Super day! Got to Rammy for 09.00 and spent the morning riding trains. The weather improved as the afternoon went on (as it so often does around the ELR), so a trip to Burrs was required! Great event, nice to see the EE Type 4 on the shuttles - complete with operational steam heat! Well done ELR, hope you made enough £'s to cover and make a profit! As ever, met some nice people on trains and at the lineside.
