    After a successful first event Sussex Steam Shows Ltd are delighted to announce that Dial Post Traction Engine Rally will be going ahead for a second year. The event will again be held in association with the Sussex Steam Engine Club, to raise money for the club and local charities, and to provide a fun and entertaining day out for all the family to enjoy.

    The 2009 event will be held over the weekend of the 4th and 5th July at The West Sussex Showground on the main A24 between Horsham and Worthing at Dial Post, West Sussex.


    Exhibits will include: steam traction engines, steam road rollers, miniature steam engines, a working area, vintage vehicles, classic cars and bikes, commercial vehicles, buses, tractors, static displays and fairground organs.
    Also on site will be an old time fairground, auto-jumble stalls, trade stands, a licensed beer tent, refreshments and lots more for all the Family.
    Gates open from 9am-5pm. Admission is £7 for adults, £4 for 5-15 year olds and £5 for OAPS, £20 for a family ticket (2 adults, 2/3 children). Pre booked tickets will be available from our Website http://www.dialpostrally.co.uk
