"Diana" Photo Charter at the Vale of Rheidol Railway

Full Day Photographic Charter

Kerr Stuart Sirdar Class "Diana" has been under restoration in the Vale of Rheidol workshops. In conjunction with loco owner Phil Mason, we are delighted to announce a one day photographic charter with a locomotive which has been out of the limelight for many years. This is the very first time this locomotive has worked a photographic charter and it will be a unique experience to see this locomotive working on the Vale of Rheidol line.

Now restored to its former glory, Diana has been sympathetically restored to its original appearance. The charter will allow photographers unrivalled access to locations along the railway that may not normally be accessible and it will the first opportunity to photograph this unique locomotive for over 65 years.

The charter will take place the day before Diana's public début hauling its first ever passenger train during the Forgotten Engines - Steam Festival Weekend.

The charter will operate between Aberystwyth and Capel Bangor.

Diana will haul an assortment of wagons.

The cost is £65 per person which includes a packed lunch supplied by the railway.
