I'm looking for any photographs or detailed route information about the GWR line between Dolgellau and Bala and there is exceptionally little (that I can find) on the internet - I was wondering if anybody could help?

I've found a few of photos of Dolgellau station back in BR days and a couple of Garneddwen halt after closure but I'm interested in finding photos of the actual route between those two locations, and perhaps a gradient profile?

Obviously I know about the Llanuwchylln-Bala section.

Any info, help, photos etc would be much appreciated!

I think that you may do better with books, there have been several published covering the whole Ruabon - Barmouth Jn line.

Yeah, I'd thought I'd better go down the book route. Still any info or photographs anybody have would be appreciated.

A google search will throw up a number of books available.
