Took a trip up the Douro Valley to Regua and Tua in Northern Portugal as part of our recent holiday touring Iberia by train. I was rather surprised to find a number of mostly neglected redundant metre gauge steam locomotives still present at both locations, and even more surprised to see 0-4-0T no. E1 on display in relatively good condition at Regua as I had seen this particular loco in steam, shunting the yard, on my previous visit to the area in 1982.
A selection of the images that I took are now available on my Zenfolio website here: - http://mickrogers.zenfolio.com/p146401536
    Cheers,
