Yes I am an active volunteer
I wonder if anyone has any advice or guidance for this issue,

I have a Sony A200k when I take a picture, I aim for some dead centre.
The object will appear towards the bottom third of the picture.

I believe it's the body and not the lens.

    Any ideas?

There are 2 possible solutions to this - (1) a camera fault or ( more likely ) (2) the self-timer has become activated thus causing the delay between pressing shutter release and the shutter actually opening; if option (2) I suspect the self-timer is set to 2 seconds !
