After a rather frustrating journey between Clacton and Chappel and Wakes Colne which should have taken 40 minutes but ended up taking near enough 3 hours due to vandalism on signalling equipment, i finally made it to the museum for their santa specials. Both steam locomotives were in operation, they were 0-4-0 saddle tank 'Jubilee' and 0-6-0 Saddle tank No. 54 'Penn Green'. The weather was mixed with cloud and sun, which gave some impressive winter sunlight effects.
