    Hi all,

Here are some photos of the diverted trains in the Yorkshire area over the weekends 24/25th April and 1/2/9 May 2010. Engineering work to replace a road overbridge at Hare Park Jn saw the line closed between Wakefield and Doncaster and the line from Crofton West Jn-Hare Park Jn also closed during the dates above. Trains were diverted via Hambleton Jn,South Milford,Micklefield,Leeds,Normanton,Wakefield Kirkgate,Wakefield Westgate and Outwood, however 3 HST's (SO) were diverted via the Askern branch and Knottingley, this is the more traditional route, rather than that via Hambleton Jn the Intermodal/Freightliner's were also diverted, running via Hambleton Jn,Milford Jn,Pontefract East Jn,Pontefract Monkhill,Crofton West Jn,Calder Bridge Jn and then onwards via Normanton to Leeds or Wakefield Europort.
