Ecclesbourne Valley Railway and Peak Rail to host joint Diesel Gala
The Ecclesbourne Valley Railway and Peak Rail are delighted to announce that they are to host their first ever joint diesel gala on the weekend of Saturday 15th & Sunday 16th April 2023. The event, dubbed ‘Twin Peaks’ in reference to Peak Rail’s location in the Derbyshire Peak District and the EVR’s location in the Derbyshire Dales White Peak area, will feature both railway’s excellent fleet of restored diesel locomotives running to a special timetable.
Special fares will be in operation which covers travel on both railways together under one ticket which also includes a heritage bus service operating at regular intervals throughout each day to allow visitors to make the five-mile connection between the two railways with ease.
