    Advanced notice of the opening weekend of the 2010 operating season at the Ecclesbourne Valley Railway. It is a DMU gala with both the Idridgehay and 1 in 27 incline to Ravenstor for the High Peak lines in operation. It is hoped to use all available stock but more details about whats running and timetable to follow in a few weeks.

    Just a reminder, it is the gala this weekend and Class 20 D8001 is confirmed as running brake van rides to Gorsey Bank included in the ticket price.
