    Hi All

    This weekend is the EVR'S Multiple Memories event, travel back to the 50s, 60s and 70s as we celebrate the unsung heroes of British Railways!

    A first ever for the railway will include a special intensive timetable (see http://www.e-v-r.com/multiplememories/ ), the lines large selection of operational diesel railcars will be showcased in heir entirety during the weekend. The event is being operated in conjunction with the Railcar Association's annual convention.

    At Duffield there will be All-Day breakfasts available in the stationary Mk1 coach, with the Pullman Buffet at Wirksworth also providing refreshments, An on-train beer trolley service will also operate, Saturday evening a convoy of 9 railcars will operate a Fish and Chip special departing Wirksworth at 18.15.

    The Derby Lightweight twin set will be available for viewing at Platform 1 at Wirksworth.

    Recently refurbished class 101 50253 will make its debut over the weekend forming the 3 car 101 consist, along with Class 108 50599 being outshopped in its new blue & grey livery!

    A static catering service at Duffield will be operating during this weekends Multiple Memories event between 9.30am and 4pm. Tea and Coffee will also be available during the Saturday evening Fish & Chip special from around 6pm at Duffield. The carriage seats up to 16 persons at tables and picnic benches are also available on the platform. A beer trolley will be operating on the evening Fish & Chip train and also on some of the service trains during the day. [​IMG]
