    I`d like to thank all the volunteers down at the EVR for a fantastic day out yesterday, 4 of us from the ELR decided to sample the line after the recent reopening down to Duffield, the trains were heaving, getting back to the main line certainly seems to have made a difference, lovely to be steam haulded behind a Riddles on such a lovely line, good facilities and food, heres wishing the EVR every successful and thanks again for such a great day out, keep up the excellent work, we will be back.

    Steam and Diesel trains will be operating the re-opened line again this weekend with 78019 and the resident DMU fleet in action over 4 days!
