Echills Wood Railway 40th ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATIONS 25th-27th August 2012

After a recently very successful Kingsbury Week at the Echills Wood Railway.
They are now happy to announce

“ECHILLS WOOD RAILWAY 40th ANNIVERSARY”.

Why not come and join us at the Echills Wood Railway for a low-key event over the August Bank Holiday Weekend:-

Saturday August 25th, Sunday 26th & Bank Holiday Monday 27th 2012.

Our miniature railway is holding a weekend event and on SATURDAY 25th AUGUST which is the actual 40th EWR ANNIVERSARY the railway will be holding a CAVELCADE (early afternoon) of all the locomotives available on that day and is possibly playing host to probably the most varied collection of miniatures and model railway engines in the country.

Train rides are only £1.50, and we’re sure that you’ll want to keep coming back. Also on display at Harvesters Station will be a Full Size Traction Engine (Sat Only) and hopefully Miniature Traction Engines will be giving rides as well during the weekend event

So come and have a unique day out at the 71/4” gauge Echills Wood Railway in Kingsbury Water Park nr Tamworth. Admission to the Parks Car Park is £3.50

*Fish & Chips, Chicken & Chips, or Sausage & Chips supper on Saturday Evening August 25th August for Members, Members Guests and Visitors* for only £6.50.
