After a recently very successful Standard Gauge Weekend when the Echills Wood Railway raised £3,000 for the Gloucester & Warwickshire Railway Slip Appeal. They are now happy to announce “KINGSBURY WEEK”.

Why not come and join us at the Echills Wood Railway between 29th July and 6th August 2011? Our miniature railway is holding a week-long event and is playing host to probably the most varied collection of miniatures and model railway engines in the country. Train rides are only £1.50 per ride, and we’re sure that you’ll want to keep coming back. So come and have a unique day out at the 71/4” gauge Echills Wood Railway in Kingsbury Water Park nr Tamworth. Admission to the Parks Car Park is £3.50

If you own a model locomotive and would like to run over the week, please contact Tom Hubble on 07914530178 or Jeff Stevens on 07771511768 to make arrangements. The week is essentially a play week for all visitors and there will be a Hog Roast on Wednesday 3rd August for Members and Visitors* for only £6.50. Must be booked in advance.

    Echills Wood Railway,
Kingsbury Water Park, Bodymoor Heath, Sutton Coldfield, West Midlands. B76 0DY

*Please note the Hog Roast is not open to the general public.
