Photographic Evening for the Deltic Gathering at the East Lancashire Railway


In conjunction with the above event we are pleased to announce a photographic evening at the works at Baron Street, Bury on the 21st September 2012 to commence at 1900hrs and finish at approximately 2100hrs.

We will line up all 5 locomotives in a staggered formation in the first instance in order that the classic 5 "Bonnets" side on photograph can be obtained before we seperate the locomotives into groups of the two blue engines and then the 3 green locomotives.

To book for this event pre booking is required and this can be done by sending a cheque payable to the East Lancashire Railway for £20.00, dated for the 21st September 2012 and with a stamped addressed envelope for your ticket to be sent. Please send your payment clearly marked "DELTIC NIGHT SHOOT" to East Lancashire Railway, Bolton Street, Bury, Bl9 0ey

Please note spaces are limited to a maximum of 50 people and tickets will be allocated on a first come first served basis.

Obviously as this is an outdooor event and involves electric lights being used to floodlight the engines and is therfore subject to weather conditions. Should the weather make this event unsafe a decision will be taken 3 days before the evening so therefore an email address would be preferable with your booking in order that you can be contacted.
